My mother just purchased an 11 week old pekingese and we already have a 10 year old pekingese at my house?
Why wont they get along. I mean the 10 year old protects the 11 week old but wont like idk how to say it "hang" with him is there somthing wrong?
NO, Leave them alone and they will work it out themselves.
Dogs have a social order like humans do.
As long as they are not trying to kill each-other you don't need to do anything.
I would suggest walking them together for a minimum of 30 minutes EVERY DAY. This will quickly bond them and cause them to maintain a healthy pack mentality.
