I was wondering if I can purchase a cell phone from ebay and switch from my phone to the new phone and keep my number without going to verizon to buy a completley new cell phone for a higher price than to just buy a used one from ebay. What is the best way to switch phones?

YES! you can, buy one off ebay but MAKE SURE IT HAS A CLEAR ESN AND UNLOCKED!!!!!! IAnother idea could be Craigslist! The phone has to be from the verizon network remember! Then go to a verizon store and say you want to activate the phone and it will not cost a dime! HOWEVER, if you dont have a smartphone but buy a blackberry or android phone you will have data charges.
