Mobile Phone Gun – .22 Caliber Gun Disguised As Cell Phone

2 Mobile Phone Gun .22 caliber gun disguised as cell phoneCell Phone Guns Discovered. Hitting the 5, 6, 7 and 8 buttons on the phone gun fires four .22-caliber rounds in quick succession.

LONDON, Dec. 6 At first sight it looks like a regular cell phone same size, same shape, same overall appearance. But beneath the digital face lies a .22-caliber pistol a phone gun capable of firing four rounds in quick succession with a touch of the otherwise standard keypad. European law enforcement officials stunned by the discovery of these deadly decoys say phone guns are changing the rules of engagement in Europe.

"We find it very, very alarming," says Wolfgang Dicke of the German Police union. "It means police will have to draw their weapons whenever a person being checked reaches for their mobile phone."

The guns, which are capable of firing four rounds in quick succession, are believed to have been manufactured in Yugoslavia or Croatia. The "antennae" of the gutted phones function as gun barrels and numbers 5 through 8 on the keypad as triggers.

Security experts say the cell phone guns, as well as other "improvised explosive devices," can be detected by screening equipment now in use at airports internationally. Though they have been the subject of security alerts in the U.S.

    My pen is more …
My pen is more deadly than 4 inaccurate 22 cal. rounds. It can be deployed in far less tim to an eye than some idiot can “aim” and push the tiny keys on a cell phone pad. Its a foolish gadget.

    In a cellphone you …
In a cellphone you can hide a couple of 9mm or even 5.7×28 easily. no need for for .22lr in a cellphone, but you wont have as many shots.

    Exactly..and again …
Exactly..and again illustrates only illegitimate uses for something like this. Definitely only a close range weapon, it’s useless beyond 20′ I would say, so more an assasins gun than for self protection. Pretending to be on the phone an assasin could walk up behind a target and then simply put the phone gun up against the targets’ head. .22 is the perfect calibre for this use but for protection it’s a waste of time. Its better used for …
Its better used for when you dont want to get caught. 22 caliber bullets are going to be found at the scene so they are going to be looking for a man with a 22 caliber gun. Seeing as its been placed in the form of a cell phone which also im assuming would reduce the velocity of the bullet. you would have to be at a closer range. but a cellphone is easier to dismantle and get rid of. Its more of a one time use gun in my opinion.

    Yah, so you think …
Yah, so you think some guy is pointing his phone at you and the next thing you know you’re shot. It’s still stupid, dangerous, and completely unnecessary for any legitimate reason. What’s next, baby bottle guns? It’s still just dumb IMO. Take care marco21falcon!

    The ONLY reason to …
The ONLY reason to have a gun concealed as a phone is to bypass security and conceal illegally, otherwise just carry a legit gun! This is a weapon for nefarious purposes only, concealing it from whatever authority may be looking for weapons. So STOP the “we have the right to carry this” argument to justify such an absurd weapon. If you can legally own and carry a gun, you don’t need it disguised a a phone then do you. Agreed accuracy is limited but it’s still a deadly weapon with no legal use.
